Action Replay

I seem to be having a problem installing action replay on my computer.  The err message is

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and MS Windows applications.  Choose 'Close' to terminate the application."

I am running windows xp. Mabey i need a diff. software vers.  please help any help would be appreciated.  Exspecailly where to download the software@@!! thanks~
