Changing The Tv Format Sd/stretch, Etc ...

Somehow my 1080i game is not playing on my 1080i tv. But when it tries to load the game, it changes the tv format to Stretch. I lost my orginal remote control that would allow me to change the tv format back to Normal.

Is there a utility that I can use to change the format, even if need to the hex editor?

Use the MS dashboard.  Not sure why but the last few install jobs I've done, the regular settings would be a stretched resolution.  

It's in MSDASH > Settings > Video, and then choose the option in the middle.  I believe it's called "LetterBox."

That does it for me.
