Quick Question, I have a broken BENQ drive which I have the key for and a good Hitachi 78 drive which I want to put the key into,

Do I have to spoof the Hitachi's Original Firmware as a Benq Firmware and insert the key.
 or Just Insert The new key into the original Hitachi file?
and then write it to the hitachi??


Confused myself!!

I'm using Toolbox 4.6

1 - replace key in Hiatchi with Benq key.
2 - smart hack patch with desired 78+.
3 - spoof firmware as Benq.
4 - encrypt firmware.
5 - flash

that should do it.. works for me..
