I don't know about homebrew games but there are plenty of emulated ones. There's the original arcade version of Smash TV which is far better (and more violent) than the SNES version, also it's sequel Total Carnage. And don't forget the original game that Smash TV was based on, Robotron 2084. You can also play the N64 remake Robotron 64.

No but making one would be about as easy as it gets....id suggest someone took the InvadersX source code and turn it into SmashTV...itd be easy.

i got the original NES version

memories! still works, but i just got the rom for xbox so much easier to play
NES IS AWESOME

any similar style homebrew?
i got the roms but some original games would be cool

The sequal, Total Carnage is on Midway's Arcade Treasure 2. Also there is a decent free Smash TV clone for the Dreamcast if you have one of those.
