Just wondering whether there's any interest in porting armagetron to the xbox,
it uses sdl.. so it should be possible to port as long as it doesn't use opengl..
(note: i'd be doing the port, i'm not asking other people to port it, its mostly
that i don't want to port anything that won't get used/played)

PS.

I took a very brief look at glTron, obviously, it uses opengl thus has a portability
of maybe 1%, also, i didn't see network play / internet play support, which you want in this game..

Yeah thats a cool game!! I have that one and have had glTron on linux. But I like Armagetron better. Good luck with the port.

Just because it uses opengl doesn't mean it's not portable (ie quake, quake2). That's why there's sdlx

i am so addicted to armegetron... no one will ever be able to pull me away from my xbox if i have it... which i dont mind... so port it!!!

I've been playing Tron 2.0 a lot, and busted out my 20th Anv Ed of the Movie...

...this would of course be a GREAT addition to my XBOX library.
