I wanted to try and keep the other thread clean, so I figured I'f make this thread for peopel to voice thier opnions and suggestions for Unprofessionals Upcoming game. Tell us what you do and don't like about it.

I think whatever comes of it is all positive. I mean, coding a game is hard work, I just give him props! The game looks like it is going to be fun, and quite decent looking for homebrew...

I guess my goal to desensitize people to the world "jihad" failed, so...

I'd like to see what names people suggest. Neil and I have decided that Jihad may be perfectly appropriate for the name of the engine, but we can go with something else for the game. So, throw some ideas our way.

Some guidelines (please):

- Nothing beginning or ending with 'X'
- Nothing defining a particular time period, since the game probably won't be historically accurate and I don't want people saying "dude, between february and march of 92, the m1 had a small thingamajig between the 17-QJ and the 14W6, get it right"
- Nothing with "tank" in it, because there will be more to it.

well some slang terms for tanks are:

BOOJUM
LAND CREEPERS
LAND SHIP

[edit: by no means am i implying that these are cool terms, just names in general]

or didn't someone mention 'combat' before?
Like simply calling it "armored combat"?

Isn't there a game already called S&D (search and destroy)?

I didn't hear the "Combat" suggestion before, but it'd be a cool reference to the older title.
Maybe some other reference to the Xbox platform in it? What were they calling the Xbox before it was being called that (ie. N64=Ultra 64, Gamecube=Dolphin?)

Is there a game called search and destroy? That's not a bad name... gets the point across.

Did the Xbox project have another name? If so, maybe it can be incorporated. I'm just tired of the whole 'X' thing. It's everywhere. Not just in the xbox scene, the letter 'X' is everywhere right now.
