So, what's the deal.. I put Super mario War 1.1 on my xbox and now the icon is showing up for most of my homebrew games, some of my emulators, and for random other things!!

Has this happened to anyone else?!

I deleted the damn program, but the icon is still everywhere!  I want it GONE!
Any suggestions?

Btw, I am running the newest UnleashX...

I think it has something to do with icon caching.  Many homebrew xbox programs have the same xbe ID, and that is what many dashboards use to associate an icon with a program.  Or something like that, all my terms might be wrong, but you get the idea.

Or I could be comepletely wrong.

EvoX doesn't show game icons, so of course you aren't having a problem.  <

XPort blames it on UnleashX, I blame it on XPort because his old ports never did this. Who knows? It is a pain in the ass though.  <

its because they all use the same game id
the dashboard first checks if it has the game id in cache and then use that pic instead of extracting from xbe
if the game would just set some random id there would be no problem
or if the dash caches it otherwise  <

Hrm, for example...  all the Xport emus, apparently.  I've got 'em all showing as XBoyAdvance, too (under XBMC).

Can we just modify the game id in default.xbe ourselves?  Or is there a way to clear the cache?  Deleting X/Y/Z sounds dangerous...
