What Happened To Surreal V2 By Lantus?

I know I saw alot of people dissing him for not releaseing it and saying it would be out by the end of summer. and im not asking for it NOW!!
but I would like to know if its been cancelled due to Idiots. talking trash for somthing they get for free. and dont deserve to get if he does release it

Yes, lantus is very very very angry with us all.

He said because of people making fun of his penis he will never ever release any xbox homebrew again. He also got married the other week, and is spending every moment of his honeymoon working on private releases that will never see the day of light, including surreal V5 which supports all N64 games and has 99% compatibility in regards to graphics plugins.

oDD will be done with his massive university projects in about a month and will hopefully resume work on the project. I spoke with him the other day and he expressed that he was still very much interested in the project.

Lets hope he doesnt read all the gaybo threads here and change his mind.

EDIT: Iriez beat me to posting.  I suppose that means everything I said below is irrelevant.


If I remember correctly, Lantus called Surreal oDD's baby.  And when we last heard from Lantus, I believe he said that his portion of the coding was mostly all done, and that essentially oDD's end of the work remained.  Unfortunately, oDD has been very busy as of late, and judging by Lantus reverence for oDD, I'm guessing that oDD has final approval of the emulator.  (Lantus had said a month ago that he would try to see about getting a semi-v2 scraped together for us, but that must've hit a snag.)

No matter.  November is coming, so the next two months will see the release of some of the best Xbox games of the year as we approach Christmas, anyway.  So I'd be very content to see Surreal v2 roll out around the New Year after Halo 2, KotOR 2, Prince of Persia 2 hit shelves.  (Wonder how realistic a v2 release in early 2005 is?)
