Can someone walk me trough the x360 DVD system? Like, is the DVD drive locked to one system or can other, flashed drive be hotswapped so that x360 wouldn't notice?

Could it be a way to run some altered data (not executables) by having the original, system-validated game disk on one drive and the similar backup (that has some modifications done) in the other, and hotswapping them on-the-fly? Would the changed in-game videos work for example, or would the x360 notice the swap?

I'm intrigued to learn how this part of the security around the box is built.

If you put a game in a pc and look at its contents, then put another disk in, they arent the same. Same goes for xbox and xbox 360 (I suppose). Unless the files were exactly alike, only different data, but named the same, and all the folders the same, nothing would happen other than a system hault. Even if you could swap dvd roms whats the piont?
