Problem In Emulators With Wireless Ps Controller
« on: February 09, 2004, 05:55:00 PM »

I just bought a Pelican brand wireless Playstation controller because, with all of my converters, I should be able to eliminate all the wires in one fell swoop. The controller seems to work fine so far in the dashboard and in boxplorer and in Halo and Morrowind but when I try to use any emulator, be it Surreal 64 or fce or snes9x, the emulator is convinced that the down digital is being held down. The problem is uniform throughout all the emulators and exclusive to the emulators. Even if it's insurmountable, I'll just use the retrocon when I'm retro gaming but I thought I would bring it up if anyone with deeper understanding feels like taking a stab at it? Tanx  <

Update, I think the problem is actually that the right trigger is registering as being held down. In Halo, when a new game first starts the trigger is stuck but as soon as I press it and release it, it calibrates and behaves properly.  <
