Hi,

does somebody know if the 1BL ROM can be overwritten from a MS update or in other ways or it is a real ROM(read only memory)?

1bl is @ cpu...

so no you can't change it..

2BL has been updated with a fuse burned @ second fuseline. thats why you can't use an older anymore

eFuse are actual fuses inside of the CPU. When the 2BL is updated, a revocation fuse is blown, making older CB versions unable to boot. When the CB initializes, it will compare the lockdown fuses for the current CB to see if it matches. If not, it will not start.
