why do you have an AWESOME 360 ? what makes it that?

there are as far as i know 2 chips the globe360 like u mentioned and the nme series

they both play burnt games, the nme chips use the nme security sectors in the games iso's

Now i haven't been following xbox 360 for a while becuase i have been waiting for an actual modchip.  As far as i have heard they only have the dvd-firm ware chips, are the mod chips your talking about real mod chips, with homebrew software and all of that.
