"dlportio.sys Driver Not Loaded." Error Please Help!
« on: August 24, 2010, 11:04:00 PM »

Hey guys, so I finished soldering everything on my Xenon board, and all my points look really good, but I'm running into an issue:

Whenever I try to launch do the "Nandpro20e\nandpro.exe lpt: -r16 nand1.bin" command, I get a popup that says:

"DLPORTIO.SYS driver not loaded.  Port I/O will have no effect."

When I click "Ok" I get the following readouts-

Testing LPT device address:0378
Testing LPT device address:0278
Testing LPT device address:03BC
Could not detect a flash controller!
Can not continue

I've already launched the port95nt.exe, and it all installed right, and yes I restarted my computer.  I just cannot figure out what to do here aside from taking apart all my solder points and redoing them (they look like they're solid points).  I've tried deleting the DLPORTIO folder from regedit and reinstalled, but no luck.

I am plugging the wires directly into the female LPT port on the back of the PC.  The computer is running Vista, and I'm the administrator.

Any ideas?

Are you running a 64-bit OS by any chance? If so, you need to do this. If that doesn't do the trick try this. If you're running Vista x86 I guess I don't know what to tell you.  unsure.gif
