Can you boot the console without the ROL board installed?

FYI. hit eject to power it with no ROL board.

If not its possible something went wrong and killed the southbridge.

It is of course also possible that the console just picked now to give you a real RROD GPU error.

What mobo version is it? Its likely a gpu problem. You'll probably need to do the x-clamp fix or a reflow.

thanks ill try a reflow,
if that doesnt work and it is the south bride, can i replaced the southbridge with a spare motheboard i have laying around, if so what will i need to do so.

You can replace the southbridge as long as it is from the same motherboard version. To do it you need to have a decent rework set-up and ability to re-ball the chip and alot of experience. I can do but there is no way of knowing if that is the problem. But i am not sure what else you can do but start swapping parts if you want to narrow the problem down.

Do you proper reflow equipment?

no i dont all i have is a soldering station and a heat gun.
i installed the chip on onbord another board to that was pretty much dead, and i know i wired it properly, when i turned it on i got 0001 (power supply isssue) removed it and then got 0021, i think there is an internal issue with the chip. it used to work on a diffrent console.
