like i've said before it would be great to have aim ported for the times when you have a friend over and you both wanna use aim.  This way you wouldnt have to both try to scrunch everyone onto one computer screen.  I know that I for one would use this all the time...i already use gentoox and Gaim on that, this would just be much more convenient than starting up gentoox (which takes forever).

it would be SUPER sweet if it got added in as a module or script for XBMC

Exactly what I was thinking.  If Gaim was integrated into one of the alternate dashboards like Avalaunch has it's IRC client, that would be an awesome setup.  Most of your alternate dashboards have USB and mouse support anyways.

EDIT: Damn, I just saw the dates for this thread.  Sorry for helping bump a super dead thread.
