Xe File Format
« on: August 03, 2004, 05:28:00 PM »

Hi,

Does anyone know the spec of the XE file format?   As most XBE headers start with XBEH, the files I am trying to run have XE in the file header.

If you have any info, I would be glad if you could share it.

I am working on a bootloader that will allow anyone to natively boot XBE code on an IBM compatible system.... more details will be released soon.

Thanks

Hey man, I remembered ArmyofONE was trying to sell (probably) one of the earliest Crystal Dev. Kits made. He mentioned that it ran .XE instead of .XBE. Send him a massage, he may have stuff you're looking for. For info about it, check out: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=101440&hl=

I think that the alpha dev kits run those types of files.

If you read my sig, you will reallise that I know that aready, since I have the .XE devkit.  BUT, I just wanted to know the differences in the file header.
