XDK On A Focus, Font Hacked Xbox

Three people have questioned me about me running a DEBUG BIOS on a focus Xbox, so I'm willing to tell how I did it on my font hacked Xbox.

what is a focus xbox? Sorry if that's a newbie question. But, if you do make a tutorial, let me know, I can transform it into a flash tutorial like mine for you if you want. Click the tutorial link at the bottom of my signature if you want to see what I can do.

a Focus xbox is a xbox that is version 1.4 or 1.5. A focus xbox has a different video chip inside of it and needs a bios that supports the Focus chip. Before the Focus Debug BIOS that was recently released, Focus Xboxs could not be converted into debug xboxs because the video would get all scrambled. A normal xbox has a Conexant video chip.

Just wondering, do most people who use the XDK, can they only use the XDK?  Or can they use other Apps and BIOS's?

Most people only use the XDK to take screen captures and to always have access to their xbox through the xbox neighborhood utility.

Hi Guys,
i´m from germany....so please forgive me, if my english is not very well.

Is there anything new about the hacked bios for Focus Chip ?

Does somebody already have the new bios. ?

My Xbox is a v1.4 *fuck* ..and when i´´ll run the XDK Launcher....there is only a huge flicker.

Can anybody help me.. ?

Its on #xbins under the /XBOX/bios/GueuX-NeT/ filder, there are two versions, 'Gueux.NeT-1.4-BFM-Final-Debug.rar' for people using a softmod and the other one is for people using a chip.

now it works !!

Why does some games ( NFS-U and RainbowSix3 ) ar not bootable via Xbox Launcher, and other Games ( Fifa2004,The Suffering,CraziTaxi etc. ) works ?

halo also doesnt work. i heard it is because of the bios size.
there is a 256kb debug bios but i dont think there is a focus version.

Patrice, why dont you sell your xbox off to one of your mates or something, then go in and buy a 1.0 or 1.1 version xbox (1mb TSOP) which doesn't have the focus chip. You could add switches to your xbox and flash the TSOP saving you money on a modchip.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread, but have you made the tutor aweelz?

Seriously, I don't know much at all yet about running debug-mode on a softmod, but I was hoping to learn. I mostly want to take pictures with it. Now the real newb-question, what do I need to run debug? I'm looking at "Geux.net-1.4-BFM-Final-debug", which I suppose would work for this purpose, but what I don't know is if I need any other programs in order to get it running. Do I NEED the XDK, if I only want to take pictures from games, or is it enough to just start up geux.net's bios from evox, and it will start? i tried this but it froze so I guess that's not the way to accomplish it, or maybe I just did it wrong? What do you think?
