if your trying to use them in evox, put them in either e:\apps or f:\apps, unless you edited to evox.ini  <

Thanx casper worked great. Just a qwick question, Where do i put the eject/reset xbe's so i can acess them on the main interface(desktop) of evox instead of going to launch menu/ applications/reset? I would like them on the front. I hope that makes sense. Thanx!!!

BC_MF: your problems don't relate to this thread at all, I suggest you read http://www.xbox-scen...es/evox-ini.php or try at http://forums.evolutionx.info/.

Unlike the origionals, these are completely legal, (asm not xdk) and can be freely distributed. Big thanks to xbdev.net for the header, etc.

Nice, but why isn't the source included?

I believe the apps are based on xbeboot from
the xboxlinux project, and this app is GPL.

Um. You could make xbe's that do that like a year ago, or whenever i released the very first OpenXDK was.

I've been looking into getting a reset option added to my original MSdashboard.  Unfortunately, I am an absolute moron when it comes to modifying existing programs....  Is there a legal "alteration" to the original MSdashboard that includes this new, legit reset option?  If so, please direct me toward it.  Thanks.

Yeah, I know.  It's actually quite easy, but none had done it (to the best of my knowledge).  I didn't claim to do anyting great or amazing.  Since people are interested, I will happily provide the source (although, as I said, it is almost identical to one at xbdev.net).  It will be a couple of days, though, as I am away from my computer with the source, etc.
