I bought an elite with a date of 06-10-2007 and dash 7371. Is it safe to assume that the CB is exploitable? Thanks!

Exploitable CB Versions:

Xenon : 1888, 1902, 1903, 1920, 1921
Zephyr: 4558
Falcon: 5761, 5766, 5770
Jasper: 6712, 6723


I may have missed a few versions, so you are welcome to ask if it is not on this list.


If your console has been sent to MS for repair in the last few months, it may have an unexploitable CB version.

Thank you for the responses. I know that I must check by dumping the nand (which I will do as soon as I receive the console), but I was speculating that since the console is from 2007 and still running 7371 that the CB shouldn't be one of the new patched ones (unless of course it has been sent in to MS recently for repair). Am I not correct in using this logic?

Or does a manufacture date from that far back mean nothing?

No, you're correct.  If you have a console manufactured on or before 2009-06-18, has never been sent to Microsoft, and has a dashboard version of 7371 or lower, then your console will be exploitable.

I'm looking on eBay and there's an unopened one manufactured on 6-19-09 (yeah...). How likely is it to be jtaggable?

everybody seems to think any boxs made after the 18th of june are fixed, so i wouldnt buy it if your going to jtag it.
