Iam trying to stealth patch my firmware after using garyOPA (2.1 I think) fw flash. If I do the garyOPA, put the xbox back, I can play backups ok etc. Then if I do the stealth firmware flash, it works ok, the text is the same as the HitachiTutorial.doc I am using. I then put the xbox back but now it seems the drive is stuck in mode b.The LED is flashing in the middle as it did when in mode b connected to PC. No games at all seem to work, nor audio CDs or DVDs. The dashboard loads fine but it's all I can use. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I've been told a guy with the same drive as mine, Hitachi v47 had the same problem. He put in an original when the machine was off in the drive and it corrected itself. I've tried this a few times but gave up as it kept being in mode b. I've taken off the stealth firmware flash and everything is working ok. Can anyone recommend anything I can do to try to fix this?
