How Do I Clear Media Player Network Folders?
« on: January 02, 2013, 05:07:00 AM »

Solution to this is to delete the windows media player library on the PC and let it rebuild again from scratch:

Now my porn doesnt continually show up on my xbox for all to see what I've looked at! (even though it is no longer there) laugh.gif

Hint for future reference: copy it to a usb and play from there next time to save this kind of agro.

Media player on my JTAG still shows folders on my PC that are no longer on my PC. How do I clear the network locations under media player on my JTAG?

I have cleared the cache, it made no difference. Do I need to reset xbox to default or else reflash the nand to stop it showing them? There had to be an easier way doesnt there?

OK update, I updated nand to 16202 and it then picked up same folders again off the network so it must be on my PC that I need to delete something....

Hope it helps, I use my xbox 360 to watch video content streamed from my PC pretty much every night through a permanent network connection to the xbox. You do not need Media Player or any other 3rd party media app to stream videos IF THEY ARE THE RIGHT FORMAT FOR AN XBOX, you just need the PC set up to stream videos, switched on, and networked to the xbox, It is simple and straight forward, and depending on the content. Try it and let me know.
