Media Update Installed But Still Can't Play Avi's ?

To play divx OFFLINE, you need to be signed into the profile that was used to download it on that particular console. For your banned console, you need the profile that downloaded the update on that console. The reason it plays fine on any profile with a live enabled xbox is that it is connected to live. If you're not connected to live, it needs the updated signed by MS to the specific console.
