Possible To Restrict Media Center File Access On 360?

Hi all - this is my first post, but wont be my last. Great information here!

Anyway, here's my question. I have my primary PC acting as a HTPC for TV, movies, etc. My son has a Xbox360 in his room that I would like to setup as an extender so he can watch movies, TV, etc. However, he is still young and I am worried he will accidentally delete some of these files while in Media Center. Is there any way to restrict access to "read only" to eliminate this risk?

Thx!

I'm just about 100% you cannot delete from the 360 no matter how hard he tries...should be easy enough for you to check wink.gif

Just to clarify, we're talking about recorded videos in WMC?

I didn't know you could delete content from the computer via the 360 other than recorded stuff in WMC.

To clarify, I want to "protect" all the media on my primary PC (which is also running WMC 7. Using his Xbox 360, I can delete pictures, music, recorded TV, ripped DVD's (dvr-ms), etc.

I would think there would be a "read-only" setting, but I have yet to figure that out; hence this post smile.gif

Any other ideas?
