Media Center Problems

I have my xbox 360 wired to my router and if I use a wired connection to my pc it will work with media center but if I try to add the xbox as a media extender wirelessly it won't detect it.  I have tried shutting off the firewall and UPNP is enabled on the router and it detects the xbox.  Any ideas on what else I can try to get this working wirelessly?
