wish someone would reply...i'm wanting to know the same thing. i use it for hulu and it's too unreliable to justify paying $40.

I found this
install XBMC plus theXBMC Plug-in for Hulu

I haven't Tested this yet. I'll try and test it later today / tomorrow

With the PlayOn you’re paying mostly for YouTube and the miscellaneous TV networks. That may or may not be worth the money.

I use TVersity for my 360. They even allow you to download the Premium version and try it out for free as long as you'd like. I just started using it for Hulu stuff and it works alright. It works WONDERFUL for the local files that you have.
