Hi guys,

Firstly let me say I have read over this:

... which makes sense to me. But my question is, do you HAVE to convert MKV to WMV? Is not possible using media software to play MKV files as they are via my 360?

I have an Xbox 360 console and a laptop running Windows XP Service Pack 3, both networked. My Xbox360 is connected to my LCD. All I want to achieve is to be able to play MKV files over my network and output them to my LCD. I have tried using WMP11 and also Tversity, both refuse to play MKV.
