i have all my media shared via windows media player. i have vista. I imported all of my movies into WMP, and they don't show up on the xbox, only sample videos do. I tried making a shortcut in the sample videos folder to my movie folder and it doesnt show up, i also tried sharing the root of my external drive, which doesnt work either. anybody know whats going on?

Put the files in your 'Videos' folder, as this is the only place it will look. Sometimes they still don't show up for me there, but if you put them in a new folder inside of 'Videos', that should fix it.
