Dvd Playback Jacked Up. Help Plz

Every time I put in a dvd the screen looses full screen and I get two bars on each side of the screen. The reolution seems to drop dramaticly. This did not always do this. it started about a week ago and I cannot figure out what has changed to make this happen. The same DVD in my other 360 works just fine and is full screen upscaled like it should be. Any suggestions on what i need to do to clear this up would be great. Thank you.
