360 Cant See Divx Files On My Xp Machine

Hi Earthworm John,

I had the same issue streming from WMP11. I transferd the extension file to .AVI and it worked for some files.  grr.gif

Gave up on this and transferd the files onto an external hard drive and hey presto they are all there and all play.

Ripping wise I use DVD42 to crack it then SmartRipper (Standard setings) to just copy the Movie part. Lastly I use Divx6 to convert the movie into high def format.
The files come out at around 1.5GB and are dvd quality. pop.gif

kinda got it working yesterday, Running twonkymedia server now instead of wmp11, cpu usage has gone from 99% to less than 10 !!!!!!!!
Cheers for the software tips, might have to check them out...... Dvd shrink seems to struggle with newer dvd's
