Didn't Warner recently join Microsoft & Toshiba's Advanced Interactivity Consortium for HDi?

I would say that Warner is definitely not going anywhere.

If HD DVD standalone sales are still triumphant through the holidays and manage to sell 250k standalones from now until CES (Jan 7), then I could see Warner announcing its exclusivity. Even if that did happen, they would continue to sell on the BD format through at least March.
