I installed the fall update mainly to simplify divx playback, but I also regularly watch WMV HD movies which I convert and put onto DVD in the 360. Prior to the update they played perfectly and without problem. Now they dont play at all. I go to the media blade and the disc is recognised in the drive and I click the A button to open it as before (where previously the disc then appeared in the blade and the movie was selectable) now nothing happens at all just stays on the same screen. Can anyone else confirm WMV playback from disc is now broken with the fall update If so, any work arounds or can the the update be removed as I value playback of these discs more than divx support (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Any help would be appreciated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

the only thing that has changed with using mixed media discs is that you now have to select the source everytime you switch from disc, network shares or hdd media.



go to media blade, select video, press X and select your source...
