Similar vein, I have probably 400 gigs of movies in Rar format on a network drive. Is there any way to play them back without extraction.

I am used to doing so with my Xbox, now I have a 360, and the xbox can go to another room, if I can just playback my content. I don't mind using media center as an intermediary, but I like my movie juke box and mounting and/or extracting would be a real drag.
