Problem Playing Music From Mp3 Player On 360

when i first started playing music from my mp3 player(insignia video/mp3 player) it worked perfect. it recognized the player, showed all of the songs on my mp3 player, and played all of the songs fully but after like the next day it went from playing perfectly to showing only 179 songs out of my 400+ songs and when i do try to playing songs from my mp3 player it only plays for like 5 seconds or 8 seconds and goes to the next song. i don't know what the hell is up with this thing and i just got my 360 like 2 days ago.

Anyone have a solution to this?  I just got a sumsung k3 mp3 player and have the same problem.  ie. it only plays 5-8 seconds of each song before moving onto the next
