i have searched and installed all correct fils for encode360 and still crashes on start, any help would be great and why don't they release an ultimate installer package so you dont have to hunt and find files? please point me in right direction, and once again sorry if repost or in wrong category. i just want my divx/xvid file to play on my 360 sorry it says trancode but i meant encode360_2.ob2

if Encode360 is crashing on start then this would normaly indicate an issue with either missing part or invalid imput file type.

however if you sure the imput file type is a standard divx (avi).
then its going to be missing apps.

the last time i had this issue it was due to a poor/bad install of WMP11.
i can only suggest you reinstall the apps listed on the encode webby again.

did you istall the codec pack also listed on the Encode360 site ?
this might well be worth doing first befor anything else.
the codec pack listed is K-Lite Full Codec Pack
