You need to update to stream videos locally or using TVersity, either connect to Xbox Live and update or go here, download and burn the iso and run it in your 360:

is it normal that i can't play larger files than 200-300 meg? tversity dies when i start bigger files...

pc specs:

amd barton 25oo@225o mhz
corsair dual channel 1o24 mb cl2 ram
abit nf-7s v2 mobo
400 gig maxtor s-ata hdd

Don't know why, your specs are more than enough, I use an older box for streaming, it's a p4 1.8, with a gig of ram and 300gig raid, streams everything great, I stream hd xvids that are a few gigs in size just fine. I did have a problem where tversity would always stop the service, after a reinstall it stopped doing that.
