Not that it should matter, but are you running it wireless or wired?

What type of router do you have? nevermind.

Reset your router (If possible).

Did you try resetting your Xbox 360 connections to something like automatic etc?

I have just found out that the 360 does not allow ping requests so that would explain this problem, however I still cannot connect media center extender to it.

I cannot get any computer in my house to connect through the router to the xbox, I can however connect a cable directly to computer 2 and my xbox and get extender to authorise but for some reason I cannot see the computer from the xbox when I try and browse.

I have come to the conclusion that its typical ms shit and I cant be arsed worrying about it, im getting my internet connection back at home at the end of the week and aslong as I can connect to live through my router I'll just keep using the good old xbox 1 for my movies

fingers crossed I can get to live now!!!!
