Ok, lemme be the first to try and help. I too had a problem like yours. Heres what worked for me, not sure if it'll work for you but its worth a shot.

Try this first...Rename the "movie.ts" file to "movie.mpg. I have renamed all my movies and it works like a charm. The fast forward rewind function doesn't seem to work well though. Pause works ok though.

If that doesn't work, goto add and remove programs and delete the Media Center Extender and start from scratch. That should work, it seemed to work for me.

Did you try re-installing HDTV pump ?
