I burned all my mp3's to a DVDR and it reads but I cant figure how to copy them to the HDD and I want to play PGR3 with my custom tunes. Thanks

i think it converts them to WMV

I had the same problem. It won't allow you to rip the DVD onto the HDD if it's in mp3 format. You need to convert your songs into WAVE/WMA (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Then, your Xbox 360 will conver the WAVE/WMA into mp3. I know... it's stupid

Grrr.. they are making me do work just to get mp3's

If i put in a regular CD that .wave will it convert so it doesnt take up 700mb of room?

Actually, the xbox will only convert them into WMA files.

literally it is impossible to store MP3s on the 360's hard drive.

The only audio format the can be stored on the hard drive it WMA

these can be put there by copying WMA files from a CD/DVD or by placing an Audio CD in the drive and having the 360 rip it to WMA.

it can read and play MP3s from other computers, USB devices or discs but it cannot store them on the hard drive.

WMA is a superior audio format anyway.
