Cd Audio Quality Is Terrible
« Reply #15 on: March 13, 2006, 07:49:00 AM »

Ive got my audio hooked up digitally, have got my receiver set for auto detect and have front, rear, center and subwoofer.  When i play audio through my 360, my receiver detects the 5.1 and plays the music very nicely.  I can hear everything clearly and the bass hits very hard.

Cd Audio Quality Is Terrible

it's ok that the 360 doesn't output an LFE while listening to 2 channel audio, makes sense.  but it isn't ok that it is dropping normal bass frequencies that should be there.  also as someone else had asked, any update on the equipment TwistedSymphony?

as a side project i might generate some tones and put them on a cd to see what the response is of the 360 while playing cd audio.  i know the response of my speakers so i won't blame the 360 for anything my speakers fall short on.

here's a link to a review of the speakers i use for my mains http://www.soundstag...lenniam40ti.htm
