Ok I tested this app last night and I have to say it is great. It ran with only minor lag on a 1ghz pc with only 256mb of ram. So I am guessing with a better compuet this progrm would really shine. Great work I look forword to future releases and also now I am thinking about getting a faster computer. Everyone should really give this a try.

Edit: Don't know about HD Divx files, I have never came across any of these files yet.

Hey bro,

Big thumbs up. The program is dope man. As soon as I uninstalled my codec pack and installed only divx 6.1 and your program I ran like a champ. And now there is officially no reason to go back to an xbox 1.0 hacked XBMC. Especially if you are running high def shit. Get MCE and two tuners (one has to be SD and get an OTA HD or QAM HD), download this thread's program and you can play anything you throw at the 360. And the funny part is that the workaround was so simple. Did Bill really not anticipate conversion and transfer on the fly for all of our legitimately purchased DIVX files.

I got this too originally.  Mine was caused because i did not have a password on the only account i had in mce.  My guess is you don't have a password to type in when you start your machine.  Create a password in windows for your main login, then reinstall the transcode360, when it asks for the login password, you MUST give it a password (leaving it blank will not work)

Why is this posted again there an 11 page thread about this already started last week......

activley refused error is because you have not set the rights for it.

goto control panel admin tools services and find the transcode service then logon tab and change it to all users.

i am having troubles with this. i have it installed and the 360 sees it fine, but when ever i try to transcode a file after a bit of a wait i keep on getting a timed out error

what am i doing wrong. i do not have a firewall and i have all of the codecs installed.

I've got the access problem straightened out, but it keeps timing out on me.

Any ideas??
