are they on the same network domain. I dont know who the xbox360 networking works as i dont have one but ive run into this problem with computers before.

btw, the "Error Status Report" in "Media Connect" test -> "Computer" says:

W: 0000-000B
X: 0000-F001
Y: 0000-0000
Z: 8016-05B4

If you use a router/hub, unplug it before plugging/turning on xbox360... sounds stupid yeah but solved our problems...

this article tells you which ports to open up on firewalls.

it works for me.. problem is you can only stream music...

the video sections appears to only play video files that are on the hard drive.
