I have a question as to how to solve an issue with DLC.  The Xbox helpline doesn't seem to want to help me - telling me to re-re-download it to see if their solution doesn't work a second time boggles me.

My downloaded tracks for Guitar Hero 3 appear only when I'm online.  I was asking around on the guitarhero.com forums and they had no answers for me while claiming they have never had the problem themselves.

Does anybody have suggestions I could try to get these working all the time?  More importantly, has anyone else had this problem?

Did you buy the content on YOUR system?

XBL Security works in the following way:

You buy something it gets tied to your ACCOUNT and your BOX.

Items that are tied to the BOX work offline and for any profile on that box.

Items that are tied to an ACCOUNT will work on any box but the account must be validated ONLINE.

This is to prevent people from illegally sharing downloaded content.  While I have also felt MS should have a better license managment system, where they can revoke a license and transfer it to another system.  They just don't have it yet.

You have to pay for the content on YOUR box to play it offline.
