I Install In Minnesota: Twin Cities Area

I've got a couple chips sitting here, and they're going quick. I'll have a bigger order in next week, so now's a good time to grab one!

I usually mod with chips, but I suppose I'd try anything you want done. Which method did you want to use, I'll look at what needs to be done. I'd guess it will be cheap though, there's minimal soldering to be done...

I would highly recommend Jeff if you need anything done to your xbox. He does great work and explains how it works to noobs like me.

Thanks Jeff, Dave

Thanks guys, glad you're happy with how it turns out.

I'm updating my prices, check the first message in this thread for details.

I have x2.3b lites in stock, and I'm not planning on running out.
Taking appointments now for upgrades, send me a message!

Bump....

I've got x2.3lites in stock, and I'm taking appointments anytime!

Installs are now dual-boot, evox or avalaunch, switchable with the bios 1/2 switch. Lots of new goodies to install too: skins, apps that support G drive, web browser, and lots of homebrew games too! This is the slickest install I've seen... it's guaranteed to make your buddies jealous!

I've taken my modded xbox operating manual and moved it online!

If you're thinking of getting modded, you can see what you're box will be like when I'm done with it, and if you already have one of my installs, you can refer to this if you have problems. Of course, I still provide support, but this answers some of the easy questions at least.

Go check it out:

I moved my website with my operating manual to:
http://www.pcwizardw...xbox/index.html

Also, I am now selling 6 foot crossover cables for $10 each.

Custom lengths available by request, contact me for price.

I still have chips in stock, and I'd hate for them to collect any dust. My schedule is open this week, so make an appointment now.

I've added more apps and goodies to my install packages!

I am now installing a handful of extra dashboards!

Avalaunch and Evox are bootable, and the rest are installed on the menu like apps. If you decide you like one of the others better, it's a simple matter of renaming two folders to make it bootable instead.

The extras are:
Chihirox, eviLoader, MediaXMenu, NexGen, and UnleashX

I install chips, upgrade hdd, evox, apps, etc. I've done board-level soldering for years, so I won't screw up your box. So far, I've successfully modded well over 50 xboxes with none damaged. I recommend X2.3b lite but will install any chip you want. I'll do controller switches, lights, jewels, and skins too. If you can imagine it, I'll make it happen for you.

Prices:
$40 Wire install (your chip) Any xbox chip, including a soldered install for a solderless chip that won't stay where it belongs.
$80 X2.3b lite chip, installed. Includes flash, Evox, Avalaunch, apps, skins
$30 Power button in controller
$25 Hard drive upgrade (your drive installed, xbox drive unlocked for you)
$10 6 foot Crossover cable

Best package deal: $100
X2.3b lite installed, flashed(will customize a bios for you)
Evox, Avalaunch, apps, skins(dual-boot install, switch with bios 1/2 switch)
Hard drive upgraded (you provide drive or add to cost)
A couple pieces of extra software (legal only: homebrew or emulator)

I'll also offer a $10 discount if you want the package and a controller button: $120 for both.

Work done 'while you wait'
I'll take mail orders, just add price of return ship to order. Return time is usually 1-2 days.

I've been ordering x2.3b lite chips regularly, and usually have some in stock.

Check out my operating manual, I used to hand these out with installs, but I've moved it online! Now if you're thinking of getting modded, you can see exactly what you'll have installed and what you can do with your box when I'm done with it: Modded Xbox Operating Manual

edit: I am no longer willing to do PS2's.
edit: updated prices(again)

bump....

Board level soldering is NOT entry level work....
Don't fry your box, let someone do it right for you if you don't know how.
