PLEASE READ ALL THIS BEFORE CONTACTING ME! THANKS!

Email Address: [email protected]

======================
S _ E _ R _ V _ I _ C _ E _ S
======================

1. You will need to get me your Xbox for a (1) day period. We will need to meet at my work (Scottsdale) or at my home (Phoenix) to make the exchanges (or a mutually acceptable location). (You can also mail your Xbox to me if you prefer...) In some cases, you can drop it by my home, and come back 1-2 hours later to pick it up (if it makes you feel more comfortable...)!

2. Charges are as follows:

Installs (XBOX):
---------------------------------------------

- Install/Upgrade Hard Drive: $10
- Install/Upgrade Hard Drive (Keep Gamesaves & Soundtracks): $15

- X1/X2Lite/X2Pro Install (Pin Header): $20
- X2.6 Install (Pin Header): $25
- X3 Install (Pin Header): $25
- Xenium (w/ Pin Header): $20
- SmartXX (w/ Pin Header): $20
- X-Killer Install (w/ Pin Header + Bios): $25
- Aladdin Install (w/ Pin Header + Bios): $25
- DuoX Install (w/ Pin Header + Bios): $25
- Matrix Install (w/ Bios): $20
- Matrix Install (Same as above but Soldered): $30
- Chameleon Install (w/ All Extra Connections and Bios): $25

- Flash TSOP: $20
- Flash TSOP (Dual Boot w/ Live Support): $30 - Discontinued - Read Why!

- V1.6 LPC Bus Re-Link*: $5
- Other Chips: Ask

* All 1.6 Xbox's require the Bus Re-Link. This charge is added on top of the standard cost of installing the chip.

Options (XBOX):
----------------------------------------------

- Install External Switch (old chips): $5
- Install/Upgrade Dashboard: $5 (No Charge with Chip Install)
- Wire Install (X1/X2/X3): $5

Installs (PS2) ****NEW SERVICE****:
----------------------------------------------

- DISCONTINUED - too much of a pain, not enough reward. I don't get a lot of PS2 requests anyway...

3. Charges *do not* include parts. If you pay me up front, I will be more than happy to do the ordering for you, if not, you will need to supply all the parts, or the money for the cost of the part. (modchip, hard drive, toggle switch, etc.) I do not keep chips "in-stock", so I do have to order them if you wish to pay me for the chip rather than order it yourself (you must pay me up front for the supplies that I am asked to order).

4. I do not take time to peel off the warranty stickers like a surgeon. I simply use an x-acto knife to cut through the sticker.

5. This operation *does* void your warranty on the machine, and after the machine has been verified to be in working order, I am *NOT* responsible for what happens to the Xbox. (This should go without saying, but...)

6. I will do this through the mail (UPS/FedEx) if you wish, but damage caused in shipment is not my responsibility. I recommend paying for insurance, just incase. Shipping charges are not my responsibility either. (Again, should go without saying...) Please keep in mind that you should ship in the smallest box possible, as "dimensional weight" can really make this expensive...

7. I guarantee my work. Your Xbox will be in good hands! It won't come back with lifted traces, burn marks, etc.

8. Repair Service: PM me with questions on repairs. Depending on what the problem is I may be able to help. Generally I charge $10 to troubleshoot, and then give you an estimate on what it will take to fix it. At that point you are responsible for parts, etc. If I end up doing the repair, then the $10 is dropped and we will agree on a *fair* price for the whole job.

About LED's, Case-Modding, etc:
--------------------------------------------------

I am not currently performing case mods, LED installs, etc. I am only focusing on modchips, hdd upgrades, etc. To be honest, the main reason is that it is very hard to price these types of things. Case-mods take a lot of time and care to come out looking nice. As I charge around $20 an hour for my labor services, I am put in a strange position when I am asking $30 for some LED's that I put in... If you really want LED's, Cathodes, etc I will do them for you, but just keep these things in mind!

I hope this covers most of the basic questions... As always, PM me or email me with any additional questions! Please read the FAQ below for more info on modding in general...

F_A_Q
====================

1. What hard drive can I use?
You need a standard IDE ATA133, ATA100, or ATA66 hard drive. 5400 RPM drives are nice if you can find them, if not 7200 RPM drives also work. Note: You cannot use one of the new Serial ATA drives (SATA)!

2. What brand of hard drive is best?
I recommend Maxtor and Seagate. I have had too many problems with Western Digital to recommend them any longer. If you want to use the Xbox for Live, the drive needs to be "lockable". Consult the drive matrix to make sure the drive is lockable before you purchase it if this is a requirement!

3. What size hard drive can I use?
Any size over 8GB will work. The 120GB barrier was broken a long time ago. Buy a 350GB if you want!

4. What modchip should I buy?
I recommend X-Ecuter's X2.6CE & X3CE. I also recommend the Xenium Ice and the SmartXX.

5. Where should I buy my modchip?
I recommend Modchipman.com.

6. What about Emulators?
I do have Emulators available, but they are NOT part of the standard hard drive load. Ask me more about this over email if you are interested.

7. Do you sell games?
No.

8. What Apps do I get with my upgraded HDD?
EvoX Dash (or Avalaunch, MXM, UnleashX), BoxPlorer, Config Magic, DVD2Xbox, DVDX2, LinksBoks, X2 Config, XBMC, XBMP2, XCommander, & Xpad.

9. Should I get a "Solder-less" modchip?
No. I don't recommend it, especially if you are paying an installer. The best install method is to solder it in using a Pin-Header.

Let me say that Feflicker is a great modder who knows exactly what he is doing.  Today I went with a friend who was getting his box modded.  Feflicker explained to me what he was doing on it and answered a few of the ?s I had. He had the entire thing done in about 35 minutes.  This was the 4th xbox I have had people send to him and all of them work perfectly.  He also gave me a hard drive/evox install dvd that worked perfectly which allowed me to install 2 hard drives of my friends today.

If you live in Arizona or anywhere else, send your box to him
