That was just a small checkup. Can anyone find any xbox360 or xboxnext (except xboxnext.com) domain that links to MS ? Or they bought out the guy from xbox360.com, cause there was a site there in the past: http://img.nameintel.com/Thumbnails/tn.htm...ain=xbox360.com


edit : try http://www.whois.sc/domain-explorer/ to search for any domain with the word 'xbox360', 'xboxnext' ,etc in it.

I've said it before... I highly doubt MS will use a new domain name for the new Xbox console. If the name still has "Xbox" in it somewhere then I imagine they will continue to use www.xbox.com for everything MS/Console. Much like Sony uses www.playstation.com for the PS, PS2, and PSP

It would just confuse things. If MS actually names the console after a domain that they bought I'd imagine it will just re-direct to Xbox.com anyway.

I honestly don't think they're going to loose any business if they name their console Xbox 360 and they don't own that domain. I think the name of the console is more important than domain availability to MS.

Besides if they really want the domain they can just TAKE it, whether it be throwing money at the person who owns it or threating lawsuit over trademark infringement (see: MikeRowSoft.com)
