Your Halo 2 Prediction

well it is oh so good to be right, we all know this. and at this point we definatly have enough info to be persuaded one way or another.  Some have strong opinions while other think people need to relax not play into this marketing game and just wait and see. why dont we all just put our money on our real guess and see whos right in the end. my money goes with my instincts. HALO 2 will be released august 24th. hold the flaming .....well see ;)

i voted for the singleplayer demo cuz htat seems most logical to me (offcourse i hope ur right and we'll get the full game:P)

Apparently, M$ is releasing a new LE headset with the H2 LE box, and there was also talk about a new Live service upgrade at some point in the near future, both pointing to a single player demo if anything.  They know the multiplayer is the heart of the game, and I doubt they would give that away too early.

EDIT:  Also, that new headset is not finished yet, the prototype is being made right now, and isn't going into production for at least a month, further showing there will be no full release this month.

Plus I think too many people are planning on a November release, and might not be able to buy it this month, and I think Bungie/M$ know this, and really don't plan on losing money on the deal.

Just because they are unable to buy it this month doesn't mean they're not going to buy it! If they can't afford to buy it 'till November, then that's when they'll buy it. Halo 2 is going to be a HUGE success no matter what the timing. I believe Bungie feels they have made us wait long enough, and feels that if the game is ready now, why wait!

I honestly don't think any form of demo is being released the 24th.  Its probably just a way to keep some "buzz" going.  I mean I hope im wrong and a demo IS released, but no need to get hopes up.

They're going to announce Halo 2 will only be sold with the console so everyone will have to buy another xbox to play halo 2.


Actually I have no idea. Full game would be awesome. B)
