I think a little 8 year old could put in that chip if he had just a tab bit of patience.
But still good for you knowing how to mod a xbox at young age.

hey i was like 12, and my parents wanted me to get the solderless, cuz at the time, i didnt know shit about soldering, nut i've installed two 2.3 Lite's in my friends xboxes successfully...

I turned 15 the 18th (April, in case you read this late). I've been using computers forever. My dad has been a computer teacher since before I was born. I remember he showed me how to run games on our commodores (our commodore 64 and 128 still work). We have tons of old macs in our basement. Those were the days.

I'm still tramatized from all those memory leaks in Windows 3.1....

Commodores... Wow those are old.... I still remember when 1.44mb floppys were considered enough storage for anybody and a 4mhz processor was considered cutting edge....

i wish i hadnt sold my commodore...i want it back now

im glad i sold my first windows computer though lol

the packard hell:

133mhz Pentium 1
1.2gb HD (upgraded to 8.4)
16mb RAM (upgraded to 48)
28.8bps modem (upgraded to 56k)
4x CD-ROM (upgraded to 2x CD-RW)
some shitty sound card
some shitty onboard video
heavy ass reinforced steel case
replaced PSU

and even after all those upgrades it still sucked ass

I am 16, have modded around 18 xboxs, mostly tsop (007),  but I have done many 2.2 and 2.3. I modded all my xboxs in my sig.
