Hi, Used to be able to play on Xboxlive no probs, mod-chipped xbox, had no probs Ftp'in software etc. Now I want to use xbox live. (with modchip turned off etc).
Whenever I try to connect I get the old DNS server could not be reached.
I have xbox on a crossover cable to my pc using a shared connection to a USB modem on BT 2mb

when I enter the DNS no's from my broadband connection into the xbox (from IPCONFIG /ALL) I get as far as DNS not reached. Ive tried leaving DNS on automatic and also tried entering the PC's IP (192.168.0.2) into the DNS and it doesnt even get as far as IP settings confirmed.
As I said before I had no problems connecting to live before with the same settings before modding. Help anyone?? Ive had enough of it really. i spent 5hrs getting my bros 360 online at the weekend. I AM GOING 192.168.INSANE.
