Just Want To Make Sure I Got All My Ducks In A Row.

Ok I have never been on xbox live before. I bought a used xbox v1.0 that the person had flashed the tsop with the wrong bios, and didnt know how to repair this. I split the tsop 2 ways and flashed only the bad bank with X2 bios. I then looked and this person had been on xbox live with this xbox.

What I am asking is
Since I have upgraded the hard drive and have games backed up on it. I also changed the eeprom when I did this upgrade. Will I get banned if I boot the Original bank that I never flashed and use a retail game?

If you go on live with that HDD you will definitely get banned.  M$ is scanning HDD like crazy I'm trying tell everybody this before they get themselves banned.  I can't stress it enough that if you have any MODS you will be banned.
