non-virgin xbl eeprom = bad
non-virgin xbl hard drive = bad

not sure which bit u dont agree on !!

non-virgin xbl eeprom = bad <<<==== well we all know thats bad ...

non-virgin xbl hard drive = bad <<<==== this is NOT BAD !! u can clean a hdd so it can be used again VERY easily !! this was proved here.......
http://forums.xbox-s...dpost&p=2035794

the thing that IS bad, and that he is asking ..
this is  using a lager than stock (over 10GB) and trying to use a flagged GT (a prevously banned HDD) then u WILL GET BANNED no matter what procuations u take !!!

all the evidence is linked here very nicly (thank you Gumba)

I unbanned my box by unlocking HDD, then changed to a new unbanned EEPROM, then locked HDD, registered a new live account (2month trial). I didn't clean the HDD of any program saves or anything like that. I strictly just used the method above. I've been on live  for over 1 month now with 0 issues.

New Game Tag

Installed a Syalers
Went online , setup new account .

All ok

restored my TDATA and UDATA from my banned box to mt new HDD .

How did you setup your new hard drive? Where was the dash installed?

I think the way you should setup the hard drive once you get on again with a new hard drive is by leaving C:\ and E:\ stock and put all apps/games in F:\

And about game saves I'm not gonna bother transfering them I'm just going to use a memory card for that, not worth getting banned over saved games.

Thats more or less what I did , but I must have missed something , or the saved games and DC I restored flagged something .

Not to worry . I have just returned my 160Gb disk to try and get my money back on it ,

They wouldn't do it till they tested the drive . And when they did it blew ther PC and My disk  jester.gif

What a spot of luck ... Cash back please .

I have another eeprom and will get another disk once I do more investigation .
Thanks

Last night I installed a new eeprom plus a brand new 120GB drive.. Usually I get banned the morning after. I checked this morning and so far I am still not banned. I deleted everything in TDATA and UDATA before restoring all my files. But I left the dashboard on C:\ and some apps on E:\ .. hope it continues to work. Lord-Icon, how many days did it take for you to get banned?

Are your C:\ and E:\ partitions stock? I have dashs in C:\ and some other things in E:\ I wonder if I should put everything in F:\ including the dash so the Xbox dash can be by itself?
